SKF Cylindrical roller bearings are produced in many designs, ISO Dimension Series and sizes. The vast majority are single row cylindrical roller bearings with a cage. These bearings are an excellent choice for applications where there are particularly heavy radial loads combined with high speeds, especially if there is a limited amount of axial displacement of the shaft with respect to the hous- ing as a result of thermal elongation. As axial displacement takes place within the bearing, there is practically no increase in friction as the bearing rotates.
